Property photos
Channah Brandsema (livingbythetide.com) remains the owner of the photos. It is therefore not permitted to sell photos for commercial use without written permission from the photographer. Photos may be used by Channah Brandsema (livingbythetide.com) to promote her own professional activities. For example for exhibitions, portfolio or social media.
Copyright
The copyright on the Photographic works rests with the photographer.
Photos and usage
General:
Photos may only be used (provided correct attribution) in the version provided. That is, photos may not be edited or cropped after purchase. The photographer may take the photos at his or her own creative discretion.
Personal use
Customers may have as many photos taken as they wish and of course use them for private purposes. The photos may be used on social media. Preferably with mention of the photographer. Photos taken by: Channah Brandsema (https://livingbythetide.com) Publication of the images on a personal website (i.e. not commercial!) is permitted, provided that the supplied photos are used and the following copyright notice is used: photo: Channah Brandsema (https://livingbythetide.com). Commercial use of the photos is not permitted, unless otherwise agreed.
Business use:
Photos are supplied as standard suitable for use on social media. Unless otherwise agreed, the photos are provided with a watermark. Other agreements will be made at the time of printing for photos for printing, flags, banners and other large prints. The use of photos within three weeks after the event is only permitted with the express permission of the photographer. After three weeks, purchased photos may be used freely without permission, subject to the aforementioned conditions, such as attribution. Selling photos to third parties is not permitted.
Submission of photos by event-shoots
Photos will be placed on the photographer’s website a maximum of one week after the event (with watermark), unless otherwise agreed, for sale to participants and/or organization. Link of website with photos taken may be shared on social media. Photos are delivered digitally, unless otherwise agreed. The buyer is responsible for making a backup of the supplied files.
Portrait right
Channah Brandsema (livingbythetide.com) is not liable for any violation of portrait rights by the buyer. The buyer is responsible for a valid statement of consent from the person in question for the use of the photos in which this person is recognizable.
